The Terex Titan is to date the world's largest tandem axle truck ever built. It was built in 1978 and used up until 1990. It was retired because of its huge expenditure needed to fuel it.

The Caterpillar 797 was the largest of its kinds in the World until 2001. Being brought into operation in 2000 it only had 1 year of fame as a Worlds Record.

The Liebherr T282 holds the World's record for the largest truck of its kind from 2001 and still holds it today. Its used in many of the World's largest mines to date.
