The standard 230hp model 1958 Corvette went from 0-60 in 9.2 seconds, could do a quarter mile in 17.4 seconds at 83mph and had a top speed of 103 mph. The 290hp version could go from 0-60 in 6.9 seconds.

This Corvette has more bling than most any other Corvettes, but is still has a style that feels as vintage as ever. By 1958 they finally had made seatbets standard equiptment. In 1956 & 1957 seatbets were still optionally installed by the dealer. They also added a center console and a passenger assist bar(known as sissy bars).
